The outcome was immediate and practical: more intake flexibility when trucks are lined up, stronger long-term storage for a commercial flour mill, and a system brought online exactly when the operation needed it most.
The project centered on a Chief Agri commercial grain bin built for long-term storage in commercial facilities, paired with engineered fill and reclaim systems to keep handling efficient and dependable. To improve safety and simplify unloading, the bin incorporated a DAAY paddle sweep that eliminates the need for dangerous personnel entry during reclaim. Groff Julius managed the full design-build scope, including foundations, bin erection, millwright work, and electrical coordination, delivering a true turnkey process so the customer could stay focused on running their operation while the expansion came online.
