We increased the customer’s finished feed capacity and streamlined the loadout process.
New York’s largest private dairy mill needed to increase finished feed storage while making loadout faster and more predictable, without creating traffic headaches on site.
GroffJulius delivered a loadout bin system designed around flow, starting with a heavy design effort to identify the best layout for truck access, safety, and day-to-day efficiency.
The outcome was clear: truck load time was cut in half, helping the operation move more product in less time and support higher production without adding friction.
Engineering the Loadout Process as One System
Behind the scenes, the work required tight coordination across structural, civil, equipment, and automation scopes to ensure the system performed as a single, seamless process. The bin cluster and conveyor arrangement was engineered to streamline filling and unloading, and the foundation was built with an integrated truck scale so drivers can weigh empty, load, and weigh full without repositioning. From site layout to final integration, the goal was to deliver a practical, high-throughput loadout solution that keeps trucks moving and the mill focused on production.
