We helped our client rapidly expand grain capacity and add a dedicated loadout lane, improving efficiency in under six months.
Groff Julius was brought in to solve a clear operational challenge: increase grain storage capacity and add a new loadout lane without dragging the project timeline.
We delivered a design-build expansion that improves how grain is stored, moved, and loaded out, giving the client more capability and a smoother daily flow.
The project hit its goals and moved from concept to completion in under six months, reinforcing a simple outcome, faster growth with less operational friction.
From Fill to Loadout: A System Designed for Speed and Simplicity
We constructed a large grain storage bin equipped with a zero-entry sweep and built a drive-through structure that supports a loadout bin, creating a dedicated lane designed for practical truck access and reliable loadout. The system was tied together with a tower and catwalk-supported fill arrangement and a custom grain reclaim system, engineered to streamline handling from fill to reclaim. With tight coordination across site work, structural integration, and equipment installation, the build delivered both the added capacity the client needed and a loadout enhancement that boosts efficiency long after startup.
